1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of Chef Carolyn & Co., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Services

Chef Carolyn & Co. provides:

  • Weekly meal preparation services
  • Private dining experiences
  • Custom catering services
  • Culinary consultation

All services are subject to availability and our service area limitations.

3. Booking and Ordering

To book our services:

  • Weekly meal prep requires a minimum of 5 days advance notice
  • Private dining experiences require 2-3 weeks advance notice
  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of deposit or full payment as agreed
  • We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST
  • Weekly meal prep: $320-$450 per week
  • Private dining: $115-$145 per person
  • Custom quotes provided for special requests
  • Payment methods: Bank transfer or cash
  • Invoices provided for all services
  • Payment due within 7 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed

5. Cancellation Policy

48-Hour Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before service: Full refund
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before service: 50% charge applies
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: Full charge applies
  • Exceptions may be made for medical emergencies at our discretion

6. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

While we accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies:

  • Clients must disclose all allergies and dietary requirements at booking
  • We cannot guarantee complete absence of allergens
  • Clients with severe allergies assume responsibility for their safety
  • Our kitchen handles various allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, and shellfish

7. Food Safety and Storage

  • All meals are prepared following food safety standards
  • Meals must be refrigerated immediately upon delivery
  • Consume meals within 3-5 days of delivery unless otherwise specified
  • Follow all provided heating and storage instructions
  • We are not responsible for food spoilage due to improper storage

8. Delivery and Service

  • Delivery times are approximate and subject to change
  • We deliver to Wollongong and surrounding suburbs
  • Additional delivery fees may apply for distant locations
  • Someone must be present to receive deliveries
  • We are not responsible for deliveries left unattended at client's request

9. Liability Limitations

Chef Carolyn & Co.:

  • Maintains comprehensive public liability insurance
  • Is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Maximum liability limited to the cost of services provided
  • Is not responsible for client's property damage unless caused by negligence

10. Intellectual Property

  • All recipes, menus, and content remain property of Chef Carolyn & Co.
  • Photography of our food may be shared with proper attribution
  • Commercial use of our content requires written permission

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the site and informs users of our data collection practices.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice
  • Change prices with 30 days notice to regular clients
  • Update these terms as needed

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms of Service shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
